There might be some new equipment or new games to try. If the people and things at camp are almost the same as last year, you’ll have some favorite things already picked. Plus, there will always be things you haven’t tried and people you haven’t met.
Some kids think, “I haven’t tried that activity, but I know I won’t like it.” Maybe they’re right or maybe they’re wrong. Maybe they think they won’t like it, but they love it once they try it. You won’t know until you try. Be adventurous! Go out and try new things at camp. It’s one of the best ways to have fun.

On the other hand, if you break rules and goof off all the time, things will be different. It will be hard to make friends. Your cabin leader may take privileges away from you. Other people won’t want to be nice to you if you’re not nice to them, and that feels bad.
Have you ever heard of the “Golden Rule”? The Golden Rule is: Treat other people the way you want them to treat you. If you want other people to be nice to you, then you have to be nice to them.
